Tory, Kirstin and Amy had a wonderful time meeting all the brides-to-be and their friends at this excellent event run by Paula Bevage Events. We have since designed some new rings, earrings and necklaces for some of the ladies we met for their special day.
TORY & KO. exhibited in Auckland on Friday 23rd September for an exclusive event on the final night of ARTWORKS.
We had over 200 people attend our exclusive event at St Matthew-In- The-City Church.
An evening of Villa Maria wine, canapes, live jazz and jewellery with a bespoke TORY & KO necklace valued at $1,500 as a prize which was won on the night!

SPECIAL EDITION DOLPHIN CHARM - Sold as a bangle, a charm or a necklace to raise money for OPS...
TORY & KO. have created a special edition Sterling Silver Dolphin charm which can be worn on a bangle or necklace in support of the Oceanic Preservation Society and their campaign to save the estimated 23,000 dolphins and porpoises being killed in Japan as told in the film The Cove. The migrating dolphins are herded into a hidden cove where they are netted and killed by means of spears and knives over the side of small fishing boats. Dolphins have an extremely high level of mercury which causes brain damage if consumed. The issues at The Cove are deeper than just the slaughter of dolphins - humans are eating this dolphin meat as most of these dolphins are served as sushi to unsuspecting Japanese every day.
These Special Edition Dolphin pieces can be purchased on our website or at our store in Wellington, NZ and are now available in New York! Tory's sister, internationally renowned fashion designer Rebecca Taylor, has collaborated with TORY & KO. to create these dolphin jewellery pieces and is selling them in her two New York Boutiques in May.

November 11th 2010: "Adorn - A feast of Jewellery" Jewellery Evening event. Fundraiser for the NeoNatal Trust.
TORY & KO. and 3 other leading Wellington women jewellers celebrated a SOLD OUT show at their latest ADORN jewellery event on Thursday November 11th 2010.
Canapes, bubbles, beauty treatments and jewellery were all part of this exciting event which over 130 women attended - held at the top floor, Level 28 of the Majestic Centre on Willis St, Wellington. The venue was elegantly styled by Paula Bevege Events www.paulabevegeevents.co.nz
This was a new spin on our inaugural "Adorn - A Feast of Jewellery" Breakfast held earlier this year at Te Papa.

*As the diamond was not claimed by August 31st, TORY & KO. Jewellers decided to offer the diamond stud earrings in good faith to all the people who took part in this exciting promotion. The second prize was also drawn on Sept 1st 2010 from the remaining entries from all participants who came up to our shop to check if their little black bags contained the winning diamond.
